We manufacture and supply all types of carbide heading dies. Carbide-forming dies are widely used for the fasteners industry, such as the production of screws, bolts, nuts, and rivets, and used for the steel ball industry. Heading dies need to sustain powerful and repeated stress in the cold upsetting deformation process. Tungsten carbide is produced by powder metallurgy. It has the properties of high strength and good hardness, which make the use of cold-heading technology possible for the mass production of parts at a high speed. Carbide die inserts can be supplied in different grades depending on the application, such as YG15, YG20, and YG25C. Higher cobalt binder content makes the grade tougher to withstand more direct impact.
