Titanium carbide powder is mainly used to manufacture metal ceramic, heat-resistant alloys and cemented carbide due to its high melting point, high hardness, and good chemical stability.
Adding 6%-30% titanium carbide to the WC-CO series cemented carbide, forms TiC-WC solid solution with WC, which can significantly improve the hard alloy’s red heat resistance, wear resistance, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance. It is more suitable for processing steel than WC-CO cemented carbide.
