Carbide wire guide dies are commonly used to guide and strand wires to form cables for stranding, bunching, straightening and twisting machines.
The entrance of a stranding die is broad enough so that the arriving wires from the lay plate enter in without any scraping. The wider reduction angle allows a much better blend from the entrance to the reduction angle.
